How To Recycle

You will need the following containers to take part in the service:

What Goes in Each Container?

Blue reusable sack – Collected every week.

Each household will have two recycling boxes, one for paper and one for glass bottles, jars and cardboard.
All new recycling boxes are black, but some residents may still be using their green recycling box, this will still be collected.

Green Waste Collections (Garden)

From June 2015, your garden waste will be collected every two weeks.
The service is changing to a seasonal collection and will take place from April to November each year. To check your collection dates please click here (link to rounds)
Households that have been provided with a green (reusable) garden waste sack and use the scheme, can request and extra bag.

Wheelie bin

Collected every two weeks and needs to be put out by 7.00am on your collection day.
Your bin will continue to be emptied every two weeks. Please use your recycling boxes, new reusable sack, food bin and reusable garden bags for most of your waste.

Please note the lid of your wheelie bin must be closed. Only one bin per property will be collected.
